NBNA BLACK NURSES
ASSOCIATION OF TAMPABAY.


This chapter joined the constituent chapter in furthering the goals and objectives of NBNA which was founded in 1971 by Dr.Laurance Sam's to investigate,define,dtermine and respond,to nursing care needs of black Americans and general population at large.This chapter was inducted on August 10, 1988.

Mission: Is to positively impact the health and welfare of the under served,uninsured and disadvantaged populations by providing education,health screenings and access to prevention care.


Goal: To improve / advocate for quality,accessible affordable healthcare.


Objectives: further and strengthen the goals of NBNA locally to promote and enhance the quality of life of the under served.

To provide community forum/education on health issues ,access,afford ability and quality care.

Collaborate with community partners,patients and healthcare providers to provide established community activities /support/available resouces to impact health disparities.
